Mr. Gold is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Three Bays Capital, a value-oriented investment firm in Boston, MA. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Jefferies & Co., where he served as the Head of Client Relationship Management, the Head of Hedge Fund Relationship Management and member of the Equity Operating Committee. Prior to Jefferies & Co., Mr. Gold was a Partner/Founder at Stonehorse Capital Management, an emerging manager fund of funds and a Managing Partner at DeMatteo Monness LLC, an alternative research platform. Mr. Gold has held various roles in the equity divisions at Goldman Sachs & Co., Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Bear Stearns & Co. He received a B.A. in Government & Law from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
Mr. Gold is currently on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Managed Funds Association (MFA). He serves on the Investment and Finance Committee at The Rivers School in Weston, MA. Mr. Gold is also the Co-Founder of the Boston Investment Conference benefitting Boston Children’s Hospital.
